As Senior PR Specialist for blast! PR, Erika brings an array of experience and talent to the team. In her role at blast! PR, Erika will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing strategic communication programs to deliver tangible results to her clients.

Erika brings experience from both coasts working for FischerHealth, a Porter Novelli company, in Los Angeles, CA and Qorvis Communications, LLC in Washington, DC. In her role as Account Executive at FischerHealth in Los Angeles, Erika served as the day-to-day tactical contact for DePuy Orthopaedics, juggling every slice of the PR wheel from satellite media tours to local market events to guerilla media relations. While in DC, Erika rose from her initial position as an Intern at Qorvis to an Associate. At Qorvis, Erika worked on an array of clients and campaigns including public affairs, technology, consumer goods, company launches and event management.

A member of the blast! PR team since August 2008, Erika graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, DC with a B.A. in Communication and Creative Writing. In her spare time, Erika enjoys spending time with her five dogs and renovating her house located in the historic Raleigh neighborhood of Mordecai.
